Wildlife walks on the island
When you arrive at the Isle of May, go to the Visitor Centre overlooking the main harbour. Here you can enjoy wonderful views of the island and its wildlife. You’ll receive a map, showing the walking trails, and you can find more information about what to see during your visit.
The island is a haven for wildlife. Look out for puffins, kittiwakes, oystercatchers, razorbills, fulmars, guillemots, shags and many more species of birds. You may also see common seals, grey seals, minke whales and harbour porpoises.
