Searching for the perfect place in Scotland to hold a special anniversary celebration? Woodside in St Andrews offers a cosy escape for two, or the chance to get together with friends and family. We have a choice of holiday apartments or our woodland hide, ideal for a celebratory couples’ retreat. Or, for a group getaway, you can make a multi-booking. Our converted barn sleeps up to 14 guests across 6 apartments, with a shared garden. When you hire all 6 apartments, you also get access to our large party room and commercial kitchen free of charge!

The Hide in the woods

Snuggle up together in our secluded retreat in the woods. The Hide is a luxury woodland snug, nestled amongst the trees. Suitable for two people, it has one king bedroom, an ensuite shower room, kitchen, living space, private terrace and beautiful views over to the Eden Estuary and St Andrews Beach. Outside there’s a woodfired bath, private terrace and Ooni pizza oven. It’s a 5-star self-catering experience, tucked away and separate from our other accommodations. Just right for an anniversary celebration for just the two of you.

Large group accommodation

If you’re celebrating with friends, there’s the option to book a few or all of our apartments in the converted barn. Here we have six self-catering apartments; The Smithy (sleeps 4), The Byre (sleeps 2), The Stable (sleeps 2), The Tack Room (sleeps 2), The Hayloft (sleeps 2) and The Granary (sleeps 2). So up to 14 guests can stay in total. Each apartment has private entry, 1 or 2 bedrooms, a large bathroom with walk-in shower, living area and kitchen. Plus there’s a shared garden, where you can all get together.

Dining and party room

When you hire all 6 apartments in our converted barn, you also get exclusive access to our large party room and commercial kitchen. There is no extra charge for this, however you will need to arrange your own catering and any other suppliers. The room comfortably seats up to 30 guests. So whether it’s a paper, tin, silver, pearl, ruby, golden, diamond or platinum wedding anniversary, or anything in between, our party rooms makes a great venue.
